Vancouver School District receives Ministry approval for back-to-school plan
The Vancouver School District’s back-to-school plan received from the Ministry of Education.
Under the government’s Five-Stage Plan, school will resume under Stage 2 in September. Full time instruction will take place within learning groups. The District’s will help ensure the safe return to school for students and staff. The plan includes for all schools.
This week, families of students began receiving information to help finalize school and student schedules. Families of elementary students received a survey earlier this week. The survey closes Thursday, August 27 at 4:00 p.m. All families of elementary students are asked to complete one survey for each of their children. Early next week, elementary families can expect to receive further information. Later this afternoon, a letter will be sent to secondary students and their families with information about school schedules.
